Terms of Service for Players
Last updated: 25 March 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a player account or using PicklePro in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all players who use PicklePro to find clubs, book sessions, or otherwise engage with the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create a PicklePro account. If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and consented to these Terms on your behalf. By using PicklePro, you represent that you meet these age requirements. We reserve the right to suspend any account we reasonably believe is held by a person under the minimum age without parental consent.
3. Account Registration
When registering for an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Keep your account details up to date
- Maintain the confidentiality of your password and not share your account with others
- Notify us immediately at support@pickleproapp.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- Create only one account per person
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Booking Sessions & Payments
4.1 Bookings
PicklePro enables you to discover and book pickleball sessions, courts, and coaching lessons offered by independent clubs. When you make a booking, you are entering into an agreement with the club, not with PicklePro. PicklePro acts solely as a platform to facilitate that connection.
4.2 Payments
Payments are processed securely by Stripe on behalf of the club. By completing a booking, you authorise the charge to your chosen payment method. PicklePro does not store your full card details. You are also responsible for any bank or card fees associated with your payment method.
4.3 Pricing
Session prices are set by each club. PicklePro displays prices as provided by clubs but is not responsible for pricing errors or changes. Always review the total amount before confirming a booking.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Each club sets its own cancellation and refund policy. PicklePro is not responsible for issuing refunds on behalf of clubs. If you need to cancel a booking or request a refund, please contact the club directly. PicklePro may facilitate communication but cannot guarantee any particular outcome. We encourage you to review a club's cancellation policy before booking.
6. Photography & Media
Clubs may photograph or video-record sessions for their own marketing, promotional, and social media purposes. By attending a session booked through PicklePro, you acknowledge that such recording may take place. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform the club directly before or at the start of your session. PicklePro is not responsible for how clubs use photographs or recordings taken at their sessions.
Clubs are responsible for complying with applicable data protection law (including UK GDPR) when capturing and using images or recordings of players.
7. Player Conduct
When using PicklePro and attending sessions, you agree to:
- Comply with all rules and guidelines set by the club hosting your session
- Treat other players, coaches, and club staff with respect
- Not engage in any abusive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour
- Not use PicklePro for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
- Not attempt to circumvent any security or access controls on the platform
- Not post false, misleading, or defamatory reviews or content
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards.
8. Club Relationship
Clubs listed on PicklePro are independent operators. PicklePro is a booking and management platform — we do not run, own, or operate any club or session. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or availability of sessions offered by clubs.
Any disputes regarding a session, booking, injury, or service quality should be raised directly with the relevant club in the first instance. PicklePro may assist in facilitating communication but is not a party to disputes between players and clubs.
9. Intellectual Property
All PicklePro intellectual property — including our platform, software, branding, design, and features — remains our exclusive property. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
Any content you submit to PicklePro (such as reviews or profile information) remains yours. By submitting it, you grant PicklePro a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display it on the platform.
10. Privacy
Your use of PicklePro is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR. Please read it carefully.
11. Limitation of Liability
PicklePro is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. In particular:
- We are not liable for injuries, accidents, or harm that occur during sessions
- We are not liable for the quality, accuracy, or availability of sessions offered by clubs
- We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the platform
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Clubs are solely responsible for player safety during their sessions. You attend sessions at your own risk and are encouraged to ensure you have appropriate personal insurance.
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@pickleproapp.co.uk. Upon deletion, your profile is removed from the platform; outstanding bookings or payment obligations remain in effect.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or act in a way that harms other users or clubs.
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Informal Resolution
If a dispute arises between you and PicklePro, please contact us at support@pickleproapp.co.uk so we can attempt to resolve it informally.
13.2 Binding Arbitration
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, both parties agree to submit it to binding arbitration administered by a neutral arbitrator in the United Kingdom. Each party will bear its own costs.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be notified via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of PicklePro after changes take effect indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
