Terms of Service for Club Owners

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a club account on PicklePro, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
2. Definitions
- “Service”: The PicklePro platform, including our website, mobile application, and services
- “Club”: Your pickleball club registered on PicklePro
- “Player”: An individual who joins your club or books sessions through PicklePro
- “Content”: All information you provide, including club description, images, pricing, and session details
3. Subscription & Fees
3.1 Subscription Fee
You agree to pay the subscription fee specified during signup. You will also be responsible for Stripe transaction fees on all player bookings and payments.
3.2 Free Trial
New club owners receive a 30-day free trial of the PicklePro platform. After the trial period ends, your subscription fee will commence on the first billing date. You may cancel during the trial period without charge.
3.3 Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually (depending on your plan). You authorize PicklePro to charge your payment method on file on each billing date. If payment fails, we will attempt to charge again after 3 days. If payment ultimately fails, your account may be suspended.
4. Refund Policy
Subscription fees are non-refundable. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge for resolution. Refunds, if approved, will be issued as account credit. We reserve the right to decline refund requests made more than 30 days after the charge date.
5. Club Owner Obligations
As a club owner, you agree to:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date club information, including contact details, pricing, and session schedules
- Respect player privacy and comply with UK GDPR when using player data
- Use player data only for managing your club and communicating with members
- Not share, sell, or otherwise exploit player data for marketing purposes without explicit player consent
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding player safety and data protection
- Provide accurate session descriptions and pricing to avoid misleading players
- Not use PicklePro for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
6. Liability Disclaimer
PicklePro is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties. You acknowledge that:
- Your club is responsible for providing safe, lawful sessions
- You are solely responsible for all player safety during sessions and lessons
- You are responsible for the quality and delivery of the services you offer
- PicklePro is not liable for player injuries, disputes, or any harm arising from your sessions
- PicklePro is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PicklePro, its owners, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of PicklePro
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your sessions, lessons, or services
- Player injuries or disputes
- Your use or misuse of player data
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Your Content
You retain all rights to Content you create (club descriptions, images, pricing). By posting Content on PicklePro, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your Content on the platform.
8.2 PicklePro IP
All PicklePro intellectual property, including our platform, software, design, and features, remain our exclusive property. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
9. Testimonials & Marketing
PicklePro may request testimonials or case studies about your club's experience with our platform. With your consent, we may use your club name, logo, and testimonial in our marketing materials, website, and promotional content.
10. Suspension & Termination
10.1 Suspension
We may immediately suspend your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- Payment fails and is not resolved within 7 days
- We suspect fraudulent activity
- You misuse player data
- We receive credible reports of safety violations or illegal activity at your sessions
10.2 Termination
Either party may terminate the account with 30 days' written notice. We may terminate immediately without notice for material violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your subscription ends and your club profile is removed from the platform.
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1 Informal Resolution
If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us at support@pickleproapp.co.uk to attempt resolution.
11.2 Binding Arbitration
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, both parties agree to submit the dispute to binding arbitration administered by a neutral arbitrator in the United Kingdom. Each party will bear its own costs.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be notified via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of PicklePro after changes indicates your acceptance.
